Incentives negotiation, documentation and administration in connection with headquarter relocation
BLS was retained by United States Tobacco (UST) to assist the Company in securing incentives with regard to its planned headquarters relocation in Conneticut. At the time, UST was in the process of reorganizing its operations. As part of this effort, the Company considered reducing its workforce in the region by 350 and relocate its HQ from Greenwich to another location within Southern Conneticut.
BLS has worked with economic development officials in a number of jurisdictions in the region to negotiate an incentives package that is in the best interest of UST.
